Your physical or fiscal donation will of course greatly support firefighters in saving more lives. And without those, Belize Heroes would not be able to meet its goals.
But those rescue vehicles are no good without training and ongoing technical support. Empowering, not just getting a tax deduction or getting rid of used fire gear.
Of course if you do have that surplus fire engine, we’ll gladly get it to Belize. Or gratefully thank you for your business’s indispensable corporate sponsorship.
But getting involved with Belize Heroes — a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization – can be as simple as buying online through AmazonSmiles or attending an event. (Yeah, both of these are still under VESAP for Belize. We’re working on it…)
Or sharing some of your time and knowledge, whether about firefighting or administration.
Or connecting us with others who might want to get involved as well.
With your financial support, we will ship equipment, train firefighters in Belize, or initiate programs such as establishing a fire record management system there.
